"Best Effort" Student Awards
|
The "Best Effort" awards program recognizes elementary school children for their improved effort and attitude. A pizza party is held in the spring to recognize all students who were chosen as a B.U.G. student. Then in June, we recognize the Best Effort super achievers at a special awards luncheon.

Back Pack Buddies helps children enrolled in the LCSC Preschool Program who are identified as at risk of going hungry over the weekend by providing single-serve nutritious food items.

Fishing Derby
|
This annual Fishing Derby invites area youth to learn about a life-long hobby, fishing. Prizes are awarded for the biggest fish, smallest fish, most fish caught just to name a few. Every child who participates goes home with a fishing-related gift.

The Tools For School project provides over $4,000 in school supplies and back packs to children in our four elementary schools. This year we plan to stuff back packs with school supplies and make them available to students who quality for the free lunch program.
